    <title>Sep 12, Paul&#39;s Letter to John - 1994</title>
    <link>http://www.the-beatles-history.com/beatles-history-blog.html#Paul&#39;s-Letter-to-John---1994</link>
    <description>Yesterday, I received in the mail my copy of Judith Furedi&#39;s new book:
&quot;john lennon: in their own write- a loving tribute from his friends and fans.&quot;

I had offered Judith some help in the way of ideas and contacts and a few written pieces, one of which I was very pleased to see that she used in her book. It is the letter that Paul McCartney wrote and read to the audience the night of John Lennon&#39;s Induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It is an incredibly moving and heartfelt letter to John where Paul lets the rest of us in...just a little...to his relationship with John. I have posted it in my Myspace blog and in a FaceBook note many times and the received many thanks for sharing this historic letter.

I was incredibly surprised to find in Judith&#39;s &quot;Thank you to everyone who contributed&quot; page my name listed as a writer along with some of my friends like: May Pang (who will be joining us on our Beatles Tribute Cruise) and Robin Roberts (who wrote a great review of my Pop Go the Beatles radio show) and Tom Aguiar of Octopus&#39; Garden Magazine.

So let me just set the record straight, while I did pass this letter onto Judith I obviously did not write it. I am exceptionally grateful to Judith for my inclusion in this section and am enjoying the momentary spotlight it shines on me but the spotlight truly belongs to Judith who has put together an absolutely wonderful tribute to John and should be on the bookshelf and in the collection of every Beatles fan and John fan in the world.

For more information you can go to Judith&#39;s website http://www.dearjohnlennon.com

And now for your reading enjoyment I bring you my contribution to the book: Paul&#39;s letter to John on the evening of his Induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994</description>
