Cynthia Lennon Cartoons

Cynthia Lennon met John while they were both students at the Liverpool College of Art. We all know the story of John and Cynthia but most of us do not know that Cynthia was a pretty good artist in her own right. You can see this in her cartoons.

Now, I’m asking for “a little help from my friends” because I cannot find any information on these Cartoons.  I was able to scan them from my copy of her book “A Twist of Lennon” but I cannot find any information about the creation of them or her thoughts about them. Based on the last picture in Cynthia’s second book “John” at some point The Beatles Story bought her cartoons, I’m guessing to sell them, but I cannot find any information about purchasing these cartoons on their website…or anywhere else.
