I too was born far too late to experience any of the Beatles' appearances. Though, thanks to the Internet/TV/books and just media in general, I've fallen in love with them and everything that has to do with them.

When it comes to their wives, my favourite is Cynthia Lennon - the first Beatle wife. I think their story on how they met is very sweet. Imagine getting to know John before he even got famous and then be there with him to experience some of the Beatles' greatest moments (at times - I know she did stay at home too). I do feel sorry for her, though. I know she hasn't had the easiest times. Like when she found out about Yoko and with John not being around too much after Julian was born (and of course when he died). That must've been difficult. I really like her, because she seems so nice and genuine and I think that she and John made such a sweet couple. Also, I think she did a fantastic job raising Julian, I'm sure she's a wonderful mother. She has written about her and John's relationship in "a Twist of Lennon" and "John".
