The Beatles were a rock band and on this track they really rock! It has the secret of many Beatle songs: It seems a simple tune, but if you are a songwriter: try to write a song that is so perfect and "simple", that's impossible. It has a great piano riff, John is singing like only he could, Pauls harmonies are great and his bass is -as always - splendid, Ringo shows he really is a great rock-drummer and Georges solo is the icing on the cake.'
I read that this song , recorded shortly before leaving for India, was maybe the last time that John and Paul were really having fun together recording in the studio. This shows during the fade-out, there are just two guys having a great time.
So, for me this songs represents everything that made the Beatles the greatest band ever.
