I was born in 1990 so I'm pretty young to be a Beatle fan and a Beatle girls fan but my favorite Beatle wife is definitely Maureen. I love her style, she had her very own style I think. She didn't have a stylist, she wasn't a model (unlike Pattie Boyd, who had access to a lot of stylish clothes...) nor an actress like Jane Asher. I love her big dark eyes and her makeup (kohl). I also really like her big bouffant black hair with her fringe, very striking in my opinion. From what I've read about her, she seemed to be such a gentle individual, very caring with her husband (completely devoted..) and children (Zak, Jason and Lee).

I love Maureen. Ringo cheated on her all the time, what difference did it make that she had an affair with George Harrison? I don't think that's fair. Maureen was a gorgeous woman who seemed to have a kind heart. She was amazing, and I think she deserves cheers! =)

i cant believe ringo could forgive george, but not the mother of his kids. especially when she was so devastated she ried to kill herself. she was a kid when they met, probably got tired of seeing him with the glamoursluts, needed to feel wanted. and along came a good friend george.

As a first wife, I appreciate the devastion affairs can cause. When you see the husband you love hand in hand with another woman it's terrible. I hope Maureen Starkey found peace in heaven and I am pleased she married again.

I notice some people are blaming the breakup on Ringo. I don't think that is true. Maureen cheated on him with George, PATTI BOYD told Ringo, and the rest is history.

Actually George and Ringo didn't cheat on theirwives, Georges wife cheated on him and Maureen Cheated on Ringo for George, oddly George and Ringo remained friends.John cheated his wife Cynthia for Yoko Ono, and Paul fell in love with another woman before the marriage of Jane Asher (adding to the Paul is dead hysteria)

The Beatles always cheated on their wives... it was really hard being a beatle wife... constant jealousy and plus their husbands are always away while they are left to care for their children. When the beatles cheated it was over-looked, but when a girl does it, it becomes this huge deal. Yes, Maureen cheated but so did all the others. Give her a break!!

Love is what the Beatles were about and it is cool you are a Beatle fan.... I love it, I've been one since 1964.. I am fifty six and it's great that young people discover the wonderful music of the Beatles. PEACE Maureen

I know its so sad...
Lulu Gibb (wife of Maurice Gibb, from the Bee Gees) said she was so shocked when she heard Mo and Ringo were divorcing, she said never in a million years she would have thought of them getting a divorce, since they were so loving...
Same for Pattie and George, its very sad their marriage ended...I dont know, for me the second marriages werent the same...

She was a good wife, but after many of Ringo's affairs and his drinking, she had an affair herself with no other than George Harrison, which hurt Pattie terribly because they were close friends. That ended both George's marriage along with Ringo's. George being my favorite I'm surprised he did this not only to his wife, but his best buddy-Ringo.
