Maureen Starkey all the way :)

Okay, I think i'm pretty young to be a Beatle fan because i was born in 1990s but my favorite Beatle wife/girlfriend has to be Maureen Cox. She didn't care what other girls thought of her...she had her own thing going on. She had her dark hair and eyes. Her ah-mazingly cute short bangs...(which i ah-dore) :) She was never really in the public eye and totally committed to Ringo and their children. (Zak, Jason, Lee) She continued to date Ringo, The Beatles Drummer, (of course!) even when other girls threatened her. She totally fought for something she wanted and that is exactly why she is my favorite. :) :) :) She might not of been the love of Ringo Starr, (due to the divorce in 1975) but they made a perfect couple in the 1960s. :)

Ringo and Maureen
by: Woody Lifton

My research into their relationship tells me thst she may have been the love of his life. He was totally broken up by her death and wrote a beautiful song for her called "Crying" (as did Paul McCartney called "Little Willow" which later on while listening to it Linda McCartney turned to Paul said "Oh my god...it's about me now"). Check out her page on this website for the lyrics to Ringo's song and you can see howe he felt about Maureen!
