Norman Hurricane Smith Biography

Norman Hurricane Smith (February 22, 1923– March 3, 2008) was an English musician and record producer. He was the Audio Engineer on all of the EMI studio sound recording and reproduction by The Beatles until 1965 when EMI promoted him from engineer to producer. The last Beatles album he recorded was Rubber Soul.  Smith engineered the sound for slightly fewer than 100 Beatles songs in total.
