Our Beatles Stories

As a life-long Beatles fan and a creator of a great Beatles radio show (someday I’ll tell that story on this website) and a Beatles website, I’m under the impression that there are very few stories about the Beatles that I don’t know about. A little arrogant of me but usually it’s true. So when I run across a story on a section of the Beatles historical time-frame, that I am not aware of it, really gets my creative juices flowing.

Once we added our Share Your Beatles Story section to this website it opened doors to stories of minor interest (“My Uncle worked the lights at a Beatles concert” or “I met George in Illinois in 1963”) and one or two of major interest.

This section will contain the stories that I consider to be of major interest to me or at least stories that I had not heard of before. In most cases I attempted to investigate the situation further and uncover more of the story.

As we start this section in the Summer of 2009 there are three stories I’d like to share with my readers that range from the sublime to the ridiculous.

I have done my best to put all the information together into a coherent story and supplement it with pictures and video when appropriate. If any of our readers can make a further contribution to these stories they are welcome to do so.
