Pattie Boyd Photographs

We all know ‘Something’ of the story of Pattie Boyd, George Harrsion and Eric Clapton, but what many people did not know is that, not only was she one of the most photographed women of the sixties, but Pattie spent most of her time with a camera in her hand.

The pictures that Pattie Boyd took of George, Eric and the Beatles in India are now quite famous and have been part of a number of exhibitions throughout the world. Below is one of the publicity blurbs for these exhibitions and her book Wonderful Tonight.

An exhibition of photographs taken by Pattie Boyd during her days with George Harrison and Eric Clapton opened at the San Francisco Art Exchange on Valentine's Day 2005, titled, Through the Eye of a Muse.

The exhibition also ran again in San Francisco in February 2006, and for six weeks in June and July of 2006, in London. It was also on display for a few weeks at the Morrison Hotel gallery in La Jolla, California, in 2008. Wonderful Today: George Harrison, Eric Clapton, and Me, was published in England on 23 August 2007, by Hodder Headline Review and in the U.S. (as Wonderful Tonight) on 28 August 2007, by Harmony Books, includes her own photographs and was written with a £950,000 ($2.2 million) advance. It was co-written with journalist Penny Junor.

If you decide that you would like to own one of her photos I suggest you go straight to source and purchase it through Pattie’s own site:
